Killing for the Prosecution (検察側の罪人) is a 2018 Toho courtroom thriller directed by Masato Harada and adapted from Shusuke Shizukui's novel of the same name, released theatrically on August 24, 2018. Takuya Kimura stars as veteran Tokyo prosecutor Takeshi Mogami, whose pursuit of a moneylender's killer puts him at odds with his idealistic protege Keiichiro Okino (Kazunari Ninomiya) over how far a prosecutor may go to secure a conviction.
