Marius Müller-Westernhagen (born 6 December 1948, Düsseldorf) is a German rock musician, among the country's best-selling with about 12.1 million records behind songs such as Mit Pfefferminz bin ich dein Prinz and Freiheit, and a former actor whose screen breakthrough came as Theo Gromberg in Aufforderung zum Tanz (1976); the same year he played the Berlin con man Horst Bremer in the Tatort film Transit ins Jenseits.
