The Movado Circa 0606569 is a heritage-styled dress watch from a brand better known for the opposite instinct: where Movado's signature Museum dial strips time-telling down to a single dot at 12, the Circa line looks back to the maker's mid-century men's watches, with a white dial carrying applied indexes, Arabic numerals at 12, 9 and 6, and a framed date window at 3. (Tourneau) This reference keeps the proportions of that era's dress watches updated to modern sizing: a 40mm polished steel case only 7.3mm thick, Swiss quartz movement, sapphire crystal, 30m water resistance and a black crocodile-embossed leather strap. Its restraint made it the spotting record's candidate for Captain Raymond Holt's watch in Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013).
