The Omega De Ville Hour Vision debuted in 2007 as the first watch built around Omega's in-house Co-Axial calibre 8500, and this reference (431.33.41.21.02.001) presents it in a 41 mm stainless-steel case on a leather strap. Sapphire panels set into the case flanks, together with a display back, give the watch its name by offering a side-on view of the movement. The self-winding 8500 is a chronometer-certified, twin-barrel calibre with roughly 60 hours of reserve, driving central hours, minutes and seconds plus a date display beneath a domed sapphire crystal, with 100 m water resistance.
