Omega Speedmaster Reduced
More actions
The Omega Speedmaster Reduced is the smaller, self-winding chronograph Omega introduced in 1988 as a more wearable, accessibly priced companion to the hand-wound Moonwatch. Reference 3510.50 carries a 39 mm stainless-steel case, noticeably trimmer than the 42 mm Professional, with a black dial, tachymeter bezel and a domed crystal. Where the Moonwatch is manually wound, the Reduced runs Omega's automatic calibre 1140, an ETA base topped with a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module, good for roughly 40 hours of reserve. Produced into the 2000s, it brought the Speedmaster's purpose-built look to a wider audience at a lower price, and remains a popular entry point to the family on the pre-owned market.
