The Panerai Submersible Carbotech PAM01616 is the 47 mm carbon-cased diver Panerai introduced in 2019, part of the Submersible line the brand spun off from the Luminor Submersible around that time. The case is Carbotech, a matte composite of compressed carbon-fibre sheets whose alternating weave gives every example a unique striated grain, fitted with a unidirectional graduated dive bezel. Inside is the in-house automatic P.9010, beating at 4 Hz with a three-day power reserve across two barrels; the black dial carries blue accents, small seconds at 9 and a date at 3. Water resistance is 300 metres. Its 42 mm sibling, the PAM00960, uses a different movement. (aBlogtoWatch)
