Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre (2023)

More actions

Elite spy Orson Fortune recruits a movie star to help him stop the sale of a new weapons technology. Directed by Guy Ritchie and released in 2023, it pairs Jason Statham's Fortune with Aubrey Plaza, Bugzy Malone and Cary Elwes on a freelance intelligence team, using Josh Hartnett's pampered actor Danny Francesco as bait to get close to Hugh Grant's arms broker Greg Simmonds. The film runs on tailoring and expensive props, and the watches split cleanly along those lines: two Panerais for the operator, a gold Patek for the movie star, a military chronograph for the muscle.
