An unidentified round-cased digital watch worn by Dar Salim as the interpreter Ahmed in The Covenant (2023). Round is the awkward shape for a digital: a segmented liquid-crystal panel is fabricated as a rectangle, so a round case must shrink the readout or ring it with bezel to absorb the surplus. Ahmed's is a large dark round case with a lighter top ring on a dark strap; the display never turns to camera and no printing is legible, so nothing fixes a brand or module. The anonymity does its own work: the American wrists carry a Casio G-Shock GA2100-1A1 and a Casio G-Shock GBD800UC over a Garmin Foretrex GPS, while the man the film is about wears a plain digital that declares nothing.
