Released in 1976, the Seiko 0674-5009 is a steel LCD watch on Seiko's calibre 0674, one of the company's early liquid-crystal modules. (Digital-Watch.com) Its six-digit display shows hours, minutes and running seconds beneath a fixed day-of-week bar, with month, date and year recalled at a button press. UK-market examples were sold as model DK001 on the B273 stainless bracelet. Fitted with a fictional ticker-tape printer, it became the first watch from a credited brand partner in the Bond franchise in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). (Bond Lifestyle; James Bond Watches)
