The Seiko 6105-8110 is an automatic dive watch Seiko produced from 1970 to 1977, its asymmetric cushion case built to shield the crown at 4 o'clock behind an integrated guard and rated to 150 metres. It became closely associated with U.S. servicemen in Vietnam, and after Martin Sheen wore one as Captain Willard in Apocalypse Now (1979), collectors adopted "Captain Willard" as the reference's lasting nickname. The Seiko Prospex SPB151 is Seiko's official modern reissue of this case. (DC Vintage Watches)
