The Seiko G757 Sports 100 (reference G757-5020) is an early-1980s quartz LCD sports watch, a slab of digital-age design with a chronograph and the 100-metre water rating its name advertises. It is remembered almost entirely for the screen: Roger Moore's Bond wears it in Octopussy (1983), where Q feeds it a homing signal and a red dot on the display tracks the Fabergé egg — a real consumer watch dressed as spy hardware with no modification but the fiction. That association has made the G757 the most sought-after of the Bond Seikos, trading well above what an unremarkable digital of its era would otherwise command. (Bond Lifestyle)
