Hideo Kojima's open-world stealth epic. Developed by Kojima Productions on the Fox Engine and published by Konami on 1 September 2015 for PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and Windows. Set in 1984, nine years after the prologue chapter Ground Zeroes, it casts the player as the mercenary commander Punished "Venom" Snake (voiced in English by Kiefer Sutherland and in Japanese by Akio Ōtsuka), rebuilding a private army across Soviet-occupied Afghanistan and the Angola-Zaire border region. - Seiko Wired Metal Gear Solid V Digiborg
- Worn by Kiefer Sutherland as Venom Snake. Venom Snake wears the Seiko Digiborg designed for the game; Seiko's Wired AGAM601 production collaboration recreates that in-game design. The 1980s Seiko G757 Digiborg worn by Roger Moore in Octopussy is its design lineage, not the exact production reference cataloged here.
- Seiko G757
- Worn by Kiefer Sutherland as Venom Snake. Real-adjacent source design: the unbranded Digiborg on Venom Snake's wrist is based on Hideo Kojima's own 1980s Seiko G757 Digiborg, including its distinctive full digital display and outer minute scale. The game’s altered display and Konami iconography mean this is not an unmodified licensed G757 placement. GamesRadar+ documents Kojima’s G757 as the model behind the game design and subsequent Wired collaboration.
Konami documents the limited 2,500-piece Wired collaboration.
