Cal McAffrey wears an Omega Speedmaster Professional on a black leather strap in effectively every scene, and it is not a stock Moonwatch: the gilt seahorse above the year 1957 and the red Omega wordmark mark it as the 50th Anniversary Limited Series, ref. 311.30.42.30.01.001. It is a deliberate note of discord in a character built from corduroy, a battered Saab and boxed mashed potatoes, easily the most expensive thing he owns. The best look at it arrives late, when he pours whiskey into paper cups in Della Frye's office and raises a hand to his face just as the conspiracy falls into place.
