Robin Wright (born 1966) is an American actress who broke through as Buttercup in The Princess Bride (1987) and Jenny Curran in Forrest Gump (1994). She won a Golden Globe, the first for an online-only series, playing Claire Underwood opposite Kevin Spacey in Netflix's House of Cards (2013–2018), which she also directed and executive produced.
