Kanji characters styled after the franchise's title cards mark the hours, and three subdials track the calendar (3 o'clock), day of the week (6 o'clock), and a 24-hour display (9 o'clock); her orange newsboy cap sits inside the 9 o'clock subdial, the god Kuchinawa (Mister Serpent) rests above the 6 o'clock subdial, and the kanji for "snake" (蛇) winds around the dial as though the invisible oddity Jagirinawa were constricting it, with a lace-and-hearts pattern etched subtly around the edge.
