The Suunto X6HR is a wristop computer Suunto introduced in 2003, pairing the altimeter–barometer–compass instrument set of its X6 line with heart-rate measurement taken from a chest transmitter belt. The barometric altimeter reads −500 to 9,000 m at 1 m resolution and plots an altitude graph with an ascent-speed alarm; the barometer spans 300–1,100 hPa and sounds a storm alarm when pressure falls sharply; the compass resolves to 1°, and an alti/baro lock stops one sensor reading from corrupting the other. The base model houses all of it in a 54 g composite case under mineral glass on an elastomer strap, water resistant to 100 m, with a serial PC interface for downloading logs. (Suunto)
