Jim Henson's ensemble of puppet characters, active since the 1955 television short Sam and Friends and built into a national phenomenon by The Muppet Show (1976-1981) and a long run of theatrical films. Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and the daredevil stuntman the Great Gonzo lead the company through variety-show sketches and slapstick, self-referential comedy. Disney has owned the franchise since 2004 and produces its film, television, and merchandise output through the Muppets Studio. (Wikipedia)

Its hot-pink dial carries a lab-grown diamond at 12, and the see-through caseback opens onto a lilac rotor with a peephole showing Miss Piggy's face. Priced at ¥476,300 in Japan.
