Transformers (series)

From IMWDb
Optimus Prime, the Autobot leader whose colors and insignia the DW-6900TF-4 carries, used here to represent the franchise the partnership is licensed to generally.

Transformers is a franchise of transforming robot toys launched in 1984 by Japanese toy maker Takara (now Takara Tomy) and American toy company Hasbro, reworking Takara's earlier Diaclone and Microman figures into the warring Autobots and Decepticons. The toys spawned a Marvel comic and The Transformers animated series in the same year, an animated feature in 1986, and the live-action film series that began with Transformers in 2007; Hasbro reports more than 500 million figures sold. Casio G-Shock DW-6900TF-4
Official product partnership, not an in-work appearance. Takara Tomy and Casio released the DW-6900TF-SET, Master Optimus Prime Resonant Mode [With G-Shock], for the toy line's 35th anniversary: a transforming Optimus Prime figure that houses this red-and-blue DW-6900TF-4, whose silver face carries the Transformers logo and whose EL backlight shows the Autobot insignia. Takara Tomy sold it in Japan by online lottery for December 8, 2018 delivery at ¥29,000 plus tax, Casio Singapore stocked it from December 2018, and Casio America listed it as the DW6900TF-SET at $350. Credited to the Transformers toy line's anniversary generally, naming no single film or series. (G-Central)
