The Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle World Time shows every one of the world's time zones at once — all 37 of them, unusually including the half-hour and quarter-hour offsets that most world-timers ignore — read off a rotating 24-hour ring and a city disc around a hand-lacquered Lambert-projection map of the hemisphere. A darkened sapphire arc sweeps over the map to mark day and night. The 42.5 mm case runs the automatic calibre 2460 WT, and the whole thing is the kind of quietly complicated watch that signals old money rather than new: a complication for someone with houses in several of those zones, which is precisely its reading on a Succession wrist.
