Venice Film Festival 2014

From IMWDb
71st Venice International Film Festival

The 71st Venice International Film Festival ran from 27 August to 6 September 2014, opening with Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Birdman and closing with the Golden Lion going to Roy Andersson's A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence. Composer Alexandre Desplat presided over the main competition jury, and James Franco took the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker award. (Wikipedia) The Swiss brand's name on that prize came with the wrists to match: Milla Jovovich, Sarah Gadon, Zhao Wei, Clive Owen and Cristiana Capotondi all wore Jaeger-LeCoultre across the ten days. Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Vintage Chronograph
Worn by Al Pacino as Himself. Pacino wore the Deep Sea Vintage Chronograph at the festival press conference for his two films in the programme, The Humbling and Manglehorn, a daytime press appearance rather than one of the festival's black-tie premieres, and the only Venice outing that ties this reference to him.
