Akira Nakao (born August 11, 1942; died May 16, 2024) was a Japanese actor. He appeared in six Godzilla films between 1993 and 2004, and played Tokugawa Muneharu for two decades on Abarenbo Shogun. He won the Tokyo Sports Film Award for best supporting actor for Ryuzo and the Seven Henchmen (2015). In Ninkyo Gakuen, he plays allied yakuza boss Kentaro Nagakami. (Wikipedia)
