Art Garfunkel (born 1941) is an American singer best known as half of the folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, whose albums with Paul Simon, including Bridge over Troubled Water, made him one of the most recognizable voices of the era; a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award followed in 2003. His acting work is sparse by comparison, limited chiefly to a supporting turn in Mike Nichols's Catch-22 and the lead role of psychoanalyst Alex Linden in Bad Timing. (Wikipedia)
