Bruce Lee (born 27 November 1940, died 20 July 1973) was a Hong Kong-American martial artist, actor and founder of the hybrid fighting philosophy Jeet Kune Do. He rose from a career in Hong Kong cinema and the role of Kato on the American series The Green Hornet to international stardom with The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, and Way of the Dragon, dying weeks before the American release of his best-known film, Enter the Dragon.
