Craig Parkinson (born March 11, 1976, in Blackpool, Lancashire) is an English actor trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He is best known as DS Matthew "Dot" Cottan across Line of Duty (2012-2021) and as Shaun in Misfits (2010-2011), with film roles in Control (2007) and Four Lions (2010); he also co-hosts the award-winning Two Shot Podcast.
