Hideki Takahashi (born February 10, 1944, in Kisarazu, Chiba Prefecture) debuted with Nikkatsu in 1961 and rose to stardom in films such as The Izu Dancer (1963). His television work spans the period-drama franchises Momotaro Samurai (1976-81) and Tooyama no Kinsan (1982-86), and NHK taiga dramas including Yoshitsune (2004) and Atsuhime (2008). He plays retired-and-rehired detective Nobushige Ajigawa across the Saikoyo Keisatsukan mystery franchise. (Wikipedia)
