Hiroo Otaka is a Japanese actor, born 27 June 1959 in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, a Waseda University graduate who co-founded the theater troupe Daisan Butai in 1981 and later played the antagonist Daijin Gaja in the tokusatsu series Boukenger (2006), building a screen career alongside decades of stage work.
