Katie Cassidy (born November 25, 1986, in Los Angeles) is an American actress, the daughter of actor and singer David Cassidy. After establishing herself as a horror "scream queen" in When a Stranger Calls (2006) and the 2010 A Nightmare on Elm Street remake, she starred as Laurel Lance across all eight seasons of The CW's Arrow (2012-2020), the character later taking on the Black Canary and, after an Earth-2 doppelganger's arrival, Black Siren identities.
