Kotaro Koizumi (小泉孝太郎) is a Japanese actor born 10 July 1978 in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, the eldest son of former prime minister Junichiro Koizumi and the elder brother of politician Shinjiro Koizumi. Active on screen since 2001, his television and film credits include the Bayside Shakedown franchise and the taiga drama Yae's Sakura, in which he played shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu.
