Kumiko Aso is a Japanese actress and model born June 17, 1978, in Sanmu, Chiba. She won the Japan Academy Prize for Best Supporting Actress for Shohei Imamura's Dr. Akagi (1998) and appeared in Kiyoshi Kurosawa's License to Live (1998) and Pulse (2001). In NTV's A Moonlight Nights Passing she plays Ryoko Sawatsuji, a housewife whose two-decade-old regret drives the series' literary mystery. (Wikipedia)
