Lance Henriksen is an American actor born in Manhattan in 1940 who grew up in foster care and was illiterate into his twenties before finding acting through set-building work. He became a recurring collaborator of James Cameron, playing the android Bishop in Aliens and Detective Hal Vukovich in The Terminator (1984), and later starred as Frank Black in the horror series Millennium (1996–1999).
