Lior Raz is an Israeli actor and screenwriter and a former member of the Israel Defense Forces' Duvdevan counter-terrorism unit. He co-created Fauda with journalist Avi Issacharoff, drawing on his own military service, and stars as retired undercover operative Doron Kavillio across the series.
