Michael J. Fox is a Canadian-American actor who rose to fame as Alex P. Keaton on Family Ties and Marty McFly in the Back to the Future trilogy. His films include Teen Wolf, The Secret of My Success, and Doc Hollywood, and he later starred on Spin City. Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991, he founded a research foundation in 2000.
