Peter Friedman (born 1949) is an American stage, film and television actor from New York City. A Broadway regular since The Great God Brown in 1972, he was Tony-nominated as Tateh in Ragtime and played the loyal Waystar Royco counsel Frank Vernon across every season of Succession, winning a Screen Actors Guild Award with its cast; his films include Safe, The Savages, Synecdoche, New York and She Said.
