Raita Ryu (born Tatsuo Hasegawa) is a Japanese actor born 21 January 1940 in Minoh, Osaka, active since 1962 after leaving Toshiro Mifune's production company. He is best known for playing Detective Makoto Ishizuka, nicknamed "Gori-san," across the decade-long crime series Taiyo ni Hoero! (1972-1982). He guest-stars as Yozo Yoron, a wealthy, ailing Kamakura businessman, in the "Family" episode of the 2018 series The Confidence Man JP. (Wikipedia)
