Ray Stevenson (May 25, 1964 – May 21, 2023) was an actor born in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, who trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. His breakthrough came as Titus Pullo in HBO's Rome, and he went on to play Volstagg in the Marvel Thor films and the title role in Punisher: War Zone (2008); he also starred as a Secret Service agent opposite Samuel L. Jackson in Big Game (2014). He died in 2023 while filming in Italy. (Wikipedia)
