Tang Xu is a Chinese actor, born 1974, who trained at the Central Academy of Drama, where he was nicknamed one of its "Little Tigers," before joining the Tianjin People's Art Theater for stage work. Known for television roles in I Am a Soldier and Forensic Heroes, he plays narcotics-squad captain Cai Yongqiang in The Thunder (2019), based on a real Guangdong anti-drug operation.
