Yu Shirota (born December 26, 1985, in Tokyo, to a Japanese father and Spanish mother) spent part of his childhood in Barcelona. He debuted on stage in 2002 in the Sailor Moon musicals and won acclaim for his 2014-2016 run as the Angel of Death in Takarazuka's Elisabeth. Drawing on his Spanish fluency, he plays ex-mafioso Gerard Gonzalez in The Confidence Man JP: Episode of the Hero. (Wikipedia)
