SHIBUYA♡HACHI (2024)

Nippon Animation's television short, broadcast on TV Tokyo from April 6, 2024, reimagines Hachikō, the Akita who waited at Shibuya Station for his dead master through the 1920s and 1930s and whose statue now marks the station's meeting place, as Hachi, a cheerful dog who steps down from the statue into present-day Shibuya to spend easygoing days with his friends around the district's crossings and shops.
