Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary is a 2014 Japanese 3DCG animated film directed by Keiichi Sato, based on Masami Kurumada's manga Saint Seiya, produced by Toei Animation, released in Japan on June 21, 2014. Red Monkey Saint Seiya Legend of Sanctuary Seiya Model Watch: Seiya wears a wide leather cuff watch in his civilian clothes. Bandai's announcement of the Red Monkey Designs collaboration states that the product is "the wristwatch Seiya wears in the film, in the design exactly as it appears in the film" (映画の中でつけている腕時計が、劇中そのままのデザイン), made under the supervision of director Keiichi Sato, whose certificate accompanies each piece; Bandai's own store page calls it "the wristwatch to the film's specification" (劇中仕様の腕時計) and the black cuff "the colour in the film", with white as a second option. The drawn watch is a design made for the film, with no production watch behind it, so the Red Monkey piece is its first physical form, as the Zenith editions are for Jigen's chronograph in Lupin the Third.
