Tales of Zestiria the X (テイルズオブゼスティリアザクロス) is ufotable's television adaptation of Bandai Namco's role-playing game Tales of Zestiria, directed by Haruo Sotozaki and broadcast on Tokyo MX and other networks in two seasons, from July 3 to September 25, 2016 and from January 8 to April 29, 2017, with an arc drawn from Tales of Berseria. Sorey, a human raised among the seraphim other people can no longer see, takes up the mantle of the Shepherd to purify the malevolence spreading across the land, and his childhood friend, the water seraph Mikleo, lends him the water armatization that fuses the two into one fighter.
