Tatsunoko Production's science-fiction comedy anime aired on Fuji TV from October 4, 1975, to December 25, 1976. It follows young heroes Tanpei and Yoppei as they race the villainous Marjo and her henchmen Dr. Hell and Boyacky across time in search of treasure, with each episode's chase ending in the same trademark skull-shaped explosion. Its success spawned the long-running "Time Bokan Series" of spin-offs from Tatsunoko. (Wikipedia)
