To Be Hero X (凸变英雄X) is a Chinese donghua co-produced by BeDream, bilibili, and Aniplex, the third installment in Li Haoling's To Be Hero anthology, airing on Fuji TV in Japan and streaming worldwide on Crunchyroll from April 6, 2025. Set in a world where public "faith" grants ordinary people superpowers, the series follows a rotating cast of numbered, ranked heroes, from Lin Ling's reluctant impersonation of the vanished top hero Nice to Ahu, a Shar Pei dog who gains self-awareness and speech from his young owner's belief.
