From IMWDb
Around the World in Eighty Days

Jules Verne's adventure novel. Phileas Fogg wagers that he can circle the globe in eighty days, turning punctuality and modern transport into a race against the clock. (Open Library)

Watches

Unidentified watch
Passepartout carries an enormous silver family watch inherited from his great-grandfather. Neither the English nor the original French text names Breguet; the frequently repeated Fogg-Breguet attribution is not supported by the novel.

Source text: "Twenty-two minutes after eleven," returned Passepartout, drawing an enormous silver watch from the depths of his pocket. (Project Gutenberg ebook 103, Chapter I)
