Blind Man's Bluff (1992)

From IMWDb
Blind Man's Bluff

David Lorne's thriller, first published by Onyx in 1992, follows Spike Halleck, who is blind, as a murderous psychopath tightens a web of vengeance around him and the woman he lives with. The police cannot protect them, and Halleck has to find his own way out with only his ears to guide him. The copyright is in the name of David L. Hoof. (Open Library)

Watches

Seiko (unidentified model)
Near the climax Spike Halleck decides not to wait for a code supposedly left in a baggage locker at O'Hare, because waiting is what Stark wants them to do. Sergeant Ed Janowski, called Jano, mutters that he hopes Spike knows what he is doing, then lifts and turns his shaking wrist: over the liver-spotted skin his gold Seiko tells him that Debra Seraphicos has forty-five minutes before the bomb goes off. The maker is named; the model is not.
