From IMWDb
Deficit Ending

Lee Martin's Deb Ralston mystery was published by St. Martin's Press in 1990. The Fort Worth police detective, days from the end of her maternity leave, is standing in line at her bank with her baby when two men with sawed-off shotguns rob it and take a young teller, Dorene Coe, as a hostage. (Open Library)

Watches

Seiko (unidentified model)
Dorene's husband, Robert Coe, tells the police that she will be wearing a yellow gold Seiko watch, an eighteen-karat bangle with a hand-carved leaf pattern and a plain gold wedding band (p. 28). When Deb reaches her body in Trinity Park, shot once behind the left ear, Dorene is still wearing the gold neck chain, the gold Seiko watch and her sandals. The maker is named; the model is not.
