Don't Forget to Die

Trading information with Charlie, Bristow explains why the police are sure of the dead man's name before the laboratory confirms it: the body wore a Rolex inscribed as a gift from John and Yvonne Sterling and an Our Lady of Guadalupe medal, and a workmate, Otis Reeder, had seen both on the cabinetmaker Vic Smith, who vanished from his job in October. The maker is named; the model is not.
