Girard-Perregaux Full Calendar
A "bulky gold wristwatch on a well-used brown crocodile strap" with a sweep second hand and calendar windows; Fleming uses the flashy gold watch to signal Grant's vanity, and Bond appropriates it after destroying his own Rolex. Fleming names no maker; the Girard-Perregaux recorded here is the modern 1966 Full Calendar, the manufacture's later reissue of the mid-century gold calendar watches his description matches.
