Hulk (Bruce Banner) is a superhero created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby for Marvel Comics, first appearing in The Incredible Hulk #1 in May 1962. A physicist who transforms into a hulking, green-skinned powerhouse under stress or anger after exposure to gamma radiation, the character has since starred in his own long-running comic book series and been adapted across films, television series, and games, including a standalone 2008 film and appearances within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
