Source text: As I turned away, the latter asked in a soft voice if I could tell him the time. Then he drew from his pocket an Ingersoll watch and, apologizing for his atrevemiento ("daring"), requested me to show him how to set it, the men under him at the same time protesting that "he should not make so bold with gentlemen."
