The second of Clint Kelly's Reg Danson adventures sends the cryptozoologist into the Likouala swamp of the Congo in search of Mokele-mbembe, guided by Edward "Jigs" Wiggins, the tattooed master of the Sangha mission. When Wiggins goes missing on the journey, his wife Kay, whom he left behind decades earlier, joins the search. (Open Library)

Timex (unidentified model): The believers of Sangha, encouraged that Kay has joined the search, give her Jigs's broken Timex, its face cracked but still working, and the locket she gave him three decades before with a faded photograph of her and the children. When Jigs sees her at last in the clearing, soaked to the skin, she is wearing the locket and his old Timex is strapped to her wrist. The maker is named; the model is not.
